Dr. Ellie Christov

Ellie was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria and moved to the US at the age of 16. She completed high school and went on to El Camino College. After she received an associate degree, she transferred to University of California, Berkeley, where she majored in English. She received a master's degree and then a doctorate degree in Higher Education Leadership from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, Ellie holds certification as a futurist and innovation leader. 

She worked for ten years in the private sector as an operations manager and process improvement specialist before joining the California State University (CSU) system in 2010 to lead seven campus departments. In 2016, she joined the CSU Chancellor's Office as a Sr. Advisory Consultant serving the 23 campus leadership teams in a wide variety of consulting engagements. 

Additionally, Ellie also worked for the City of Ontario as their Director of Innovation and developed several successful small businesses. In her free time, she loves to travel with her family. 

 Carolyn is a first generation Asian-American, born and raised in Southern California.  She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor's degree in Economics and minor in Educational Studies. Carolyn's professional career includes over 15 years of operational, performance, and compliance auditing and consulting for several municipalities and the California State University (CSU) system. 

Operational areas reviewed include but not limited to budget and finance, IT security, human resources, animal care services, library, police, business continuity, system implementation, and museum. 

As a certified fraud examiner, Carolyn has conducted several organizational investigations and developed and implemented fraud prevention programs with great success. 

In her free time Carolyn enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family and help guide the family business she owns with her husband. 

Amy grew up in San Luis Obispo where she developed great curiosity for the world and other cultures. She received a Diplomacy and World Affairs bachelor's degree from Occidental College and went on to the Peace Corps for two years teaching English. 

Amy brings a vast operational experience throughout public and private sectors. She led multi-million-dollar operations for British Airways, Gate Safe, and the California State University system. She has implemented large scale technological advances that have modernized departments and have prepared them for the future. Her expertise includes change management, general process improvement and policy development/ implementation. Amy is also a certified futurist, who is committed to creating modern, inclusive operations. 

Amy speaks several languages and has visited more than half of the countries of the world. In her free time, she is committed to exploring places she has not yet seen and learning about new cultures.
